
Born in 1947, Bill Chapko works in Naples, Italy. He grew up in suburban New Jersey and graduated with a BA in Philosophy from New York University in 1969. He has lived in the S.F. Bay Area, Boston, Mexico and Portland, Oregon.
Since 1981 he has shared a happy family life in southern Italy with his American wife, Eva and their four children. He greatly enjoys living in foreign cultures.
The writers that have influenced him the most are Nietzsche, A.S. Neill, Heraclitus, Fritz Perls, Alan Watts and Albert Camus.
